THILLALANGADI : Thillalangadi a forthcoming 2010 indian tamil action comedy film directed by "M.raja" starring his brother "Jeyam ravi" "Tamannah Bhatia" and "Shaam" in lead roles, which features an extensive cast with prominent Tamil cinema artists including "Prabhu Ganesan", "Suhasini mani ratnam", comedians 'vadivelu" and "santhanam" among others essaying pivotal roles.

The film, a remake of the 2009 "telegu" blockbuster,kick has music scored by "Yuvan shankar" raja and is produced by Editor Mohan. It is currently in its filming stage and expected to release in August 2010.

MARMAYOGI : As per reports Kamal Haasan has started works for his next film"MARMAYOGI" and it would be directed by Kamal Haasan himself.

Chennai, May 1 (IANS) South Indian superstar Kamal hassan Friday said he hoped that peace will return to Sri Lanka through the efforts of Tamils the world over.

"We want the ethnic minority Tamils in Sri Lanka to live honourably and peacefully through the endeavours of those speaking the language worldwide," Haasan told reporters at the launch of "Unnaippol Oruvan", a remake of a Hindi movie "A Wednesday".

"I have named the film 'Unnaippol Oruvan' (someone like you) borrowing the title from one of my favourite Tamil authors (Jnanpith award winner) Jeyakanthan. While Mohanlal plays a role as important as mine in the movie, my Hollywood trained daughter Shruti is scoring its music," Haasan said.

AADU KALAM : AaduKalam movie is based on the Madurai where Dhanush lives and Tapasee plays the role of an Anglo-Indian lover.directed by "vetrimaran", produced by "vetrimaran", composed by "G.V.Prakesh Kumar".

On giving explanation behind the selection of Madurai as backdrop for his film, Vettirimaran says “Despite the fact that I am very comfortable with Chennai and my first film on a north Chennai guy was a super hit, I consciously wanted to relocate to some other place for my next project. Because, I don’t want to come under a specific label.”
Speaking about the heroine "tapasi", he says “She is playing an Anglo Indian girl in ‘Aadukalam’. She is not familiar to Tamil or Tamil Nadu, and this has become one of the advantages for her to perform the role with ease.”
