AADU KALAM : AaduKalam movie is based on the Madurai where Dhanush lives and Tapasee plays the role of an Anglo-Indian lover.directed by "vetrimaran", produced by "vetrimaran", composed by "G.V.Prakesh Kumar". On giving explanation behind the selection of Madurai as backdrop for his film, Vettirimaran says “Despite the fact that I am very comfortable with Chennai and my first film on a north Chennai guy was a super hit, I consciously wanted to relocate to some other place for my next project. Because, I don’t want to come under a specific label.”
Speaking about the heroine "tapasi", he says “She is playing an Anglo Indian girl in ‘Aadukalam’. She is not familiar to Tamil or Tamil Nadu, and this has become one of the advantages for her to perform the role with ease.”
